Discretion

In the early afternoon hours, he treats her like a queen
For when people are around, nothing is what it seems.
And all the yesterdays have been forgotten
Like he's never hit her before,
Like she's never screamed out in pain,
Never screamed, 'No More!'
For when people are around,
He's calm, quiet; discreet.
No one can see the pain she hides,
Behind the fake smile on her cheeks
And in the dark hours of the night,
When everyone's asleep'
She's curled up in a ball on the floor,
Her composure she must keep.
Gently rocking back and forth-
(Her pain is so immense)
She knows she has to stop this abuse,
(Or he'll hurt her once again.)
So she makes a plan to kill him in his sleep-
A promise she made to herself, a secret she must keep.
She planned it out so perfectly;
She set the date and time.
Not knowing, that after this,
She'd be charged with homicide.
She took the gun out form her purse,
And crept into their room.
'No second thoughts!' She told herself,
She knew what she must do.
And when she saw him sound asleep,
Old memories came flooding back'

A chain of darkness, one by one
Until, so sadly, his time is done-
She remembered the gentle man she married,
many years ago,
And as she put the gun to his head,
She softly cried out 'No!'
The next morning, he found her gun,
Which she thought she'd stashed safely away;
And as he shot her in her arm,
She knew she'd made a horrible mistake
He chased her to the stairwell,
She knew that he had won.
She closed her eyes, let out a sigh;
She knew her time was done.
And giving into the darkness,
A world she calls her own,
She heard music playing in the distance,
And she finally went back home

I read two books from this arther one is called Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry and The Well. the first book i read was Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry this book is about an african-american family and they owne the outher half a white men's land but he want's that land back from him so he try's many things to get it back but at that time it was when slavery ended so the white people treated them relly bad they even tard a man and fethered him because he looked at a girl so they got afended.and this book is filled with drama it's relly interisting.now The Well is about a white family and a african-american family are fightind over a well.

The first book i will recommend is the book WAKE this book is about a girl named Jaine and she has a special power, she can get in to outher people's dream but she can not control it and that almost killed her, than she findes her self working with the police to track down a drug deler, an her adventuer she findes the love of her life.The second book I will recommend is the saga of WAKE the books name is FADE in this book Jaine and Cade (the love of her life)try to uncover secrets, strange things are happening at her school and Janie is trying to un cover it,Janie's in way over her head, and Cabe's shocking behavior twords this mission has grave consequences for them both. She findes a terrible fate to her abelity that lives her blind.the third book i am recomending is CAPTIVES this book is about two families are kidnapped while vacationing in the Cariddranh,they come to understand some thing of the island's political backdrop and the events that fuel their captors' action.

I have to read so many books that i confuse some books with outhers but i like the books so i am trying to make it fit with me homework. i am hopeing to get more words read that last year but some time i can only dream.

The Way I Feel

today I feel like the night sky, as if i can do any thing and be any thing, the day's u feel like that are one of the best day's u can have in a life time.

I belive in world peace I think that this can happen but only if people didi not invent guns.
